Barrel of Oil Really Jumped
Yesterday the price of a barrel of oil went up 11.00 in one day which is a record breaking jump. The price of a barrel of oil had been dropping a little
the last couple of days before.
I am beginning to wonder if the countries we buy oil from are trying to
ruin us from the inside instead of an out an out attack. With Iran acting up from all I have heard, if something happens there the price of oil will shoot through the roof as they supply something like 1/4 of all the oil we buy.
The price of oil is hurting us all but will really hurt the folks that
are on social security that are going to have to use oil to heat their homes
this next winter. This is wrong as these people have worked and earned the
right to enjoy life and they will not be able to enjoy life if it costs triple to heat their home.
Time to start drilling here at home. Take the power out of their hands.

Price of Crude oil dropped
According to the news yesterday the price of crude oil dropped 3%.
This price drop will probably not seen in gas prices lowering.
The oil companies are getting us trained to think that 3.95 a gallon is cheap gas.
If a person is driving any distance to work the cost of getting there is
coming right out of the grocery money.
I don't know where this is going to end, but the with the cost
of doing business rising due to gas and oil prices I would almost

Where are we going to drill
A couple of days ago, congress called the big gas companies ceo's on the carpet to explain
their big profits during this time of economic slow down,and do they deserve the tax breaks they are getting.
The gas companies had answers for everything that congress threw at them and then told
the congress that it was their their fault for not letting them drill locally (US) because of
enviroment restrictions.
So who do we blame for these high gas prices? Do we blame the gas companies for wanting to
make a profit on the products that they produce?
Do we put the blame on the consumer for needing so much oil that the oil companies have to go to opec to buy the crude oil. Opec wants to make a profit to.
Do we let congress keep telling
us that we can't drill for oil here , keeping who happy, and the rest of us paying out the nose for a gallon of gas.
Now to research.
There is research being done in different fields of energy supply.

which is NM is constant and the power companies have set up big windmill farms that prduce power on a daily basis.
Research on replacing oil with an alternative fuel is ongoing, but making a product to take the place of millions of barrels of oil a day is going to be most difficult and very exspensive if not impossible.
I don't have the answers to all of these questions but I am looking into helping myself by adding
a hydrogen generator to my truck so it will get better gas mileage,burn cleaner,and a tax write off for going green. You might try it to.

(Incidentally, the whole “peak oil†scare is just that… a scare with no substance. There are no diminishing petroleum supplies and the whole “peak oil†thing is a hoax) Even Bush has spoken using great superlatives about the potentials for hydrogen. In his 2003 State of the Union Address he rhapsodized, "The first vehicle driven by a child born today could be fueled by hydrogen and pollution free." What is most amazing of that assertion though, is that the first automobile ever invented, two centuries ago was fueled by hydrogen and caused no smog! !! Hydrogen is doesn’t create energy it only carries it and it must be produced from a an initial source of energy, such as electricity, natural gas, coal, nuclear fuel, wind or solar radiation. But the best solution for generating hydrogen is by use of electrolysis. A Hydrogen On Demand setup! This kind of a system is very simple and direct. It uses an electrolyzer, through which a tiny electrical impulse is passed through water, which simply splits the water into hydrogen and oxygen. Petroleum engineers predict that worldwide petroleum availability will hit its peak in 10 to 30 years. It’s not true. Diesel, used to transport the vast majority of the nation's goods, rose 1.3 cents to a national average of $4.002 a gallon Monday, according to AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. The national average price of a gallon of gas, meanwhile, dipped slightly to $3.283 a gallon, but remains 73 cents higher than a year ago.
