Power From the Wind

Wind Power can be a reliable source of electricity for you.
This is a positive alternative, that will help you lower your
power bill.
We know that the big power companies are adding windmills that
produce power to their grids as a way to produce more. We know it works.

Now that we have established that wind power is an effective
way to produce power for the big companies, lets get it down
to our size as we do not have millions of dollars to invest.

The biggest problem is finding the right plans and
then following through. It does take some time reading ,
studying, and locating the supplies to build the right
power alternative that fits your own needs.

With the costs going up on everything that we purchase,
the promise of tax being added to our electric bill,wages not going up,
it is time to look at some alternatives.

I am sorry that nothing is free, not even the plans to
build an alternative is free.

Grid Alternatives for the Farm

Farming gets very expensive when the price
of diesel and electricity start climbing. This cuts
deep into the profits of the farm as we all can figure, because
farmers can not raise the price of their products to cover the costs.

There are some ways that farmers such as myself(smallfarm)
can reduce the outgo.

My electric fence that I use to keep my cows in
is powered by Solar Power.

Bio Diesel to the run the tractor is easy to
make, and the cost is low. ( A little time consuming.)

It is hard to build something that would really
do some good in cutting costs because of the expense
to build a unit big enough to do the job.

These small ways of saving money through Solar
and Bio Diesel will lead you to come up with
more on your own.

We still need to provide for ourselves
and not depend on outside sources.
